Product Description

A reduced input threshold allows this single inverter to translate selected lower-voltage logic levels using only the destination supply. Its output polarity is inverted, which must be accounted for in the receiving logic.

The input tolerates 5.5 V independently of the supply, supporting downward translation as well as the documented upward examples. It is a fixed-direction logic gate and does not provide bidirectional bus translation.
