RF Transceivers
Connect baseband processing with the antenna path for RF transmission and reception.
RF & Wireless
RF transceivers, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, switches, filters, and wireless connectivity ICs for 5G infrastructure, wireless networking, satellite communications, and IoT applications.
Product Range
Connect baseband processing with the antenna path for RF transmission and reception.
Power amplifiers raise transmit power, while low-noise amplifiers amplify weak received signals.
Route RF signals among antennas, bands, and transmit/receive paths.
Reject out-of-band signals and, where required, separate transmit and receive bands.
Mixers translate signal frequency; synthesizers generate or tune the local oscillator.
Combine specified RF amplification, switching, or filtering functions to simplify antenna-side design.
Provide core functions for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4, or sub-GHz connectivity.
Integrate a wireless IC with supporting RF circuitry; some modules also include an antenna.
Controllers, readers, and tag ICs support short-range contactless interaction.
Applications & Selection
Confirm the operating band, bandwidth, and transmit and receive channel count. Assess PA linearity and efficiency in the transmit chain, and noise and out-of-band rejection in the receive chain.
For multiband, multi-antenna designs, check band coverage, transmit linearity, and filter loss. Also consider coexistence with Bluetooth and other radios.
Uplink and downlink bands and path loss shape the front end. Check receive noise and frequency conversion, along with transmit power, efficiency, and thermal conditions.
For gateways connecting Thread, Zigbee, Bluetooth LE, or Wi-Fi networks, select devices around existing protocols, node power, and coverage. Verify multiprotocol coexistence and software support.
Access readers, mobile credentials, and near-field device interaction require different device roles. Check protocols, target reading distance, antenna matching, nearby metal, and credential security.
Engineering Checks
Confirm the operating band, channel bandwidth, radio standard and antenna count for the intended link before choosing a transceiver and front-end configuration.
Check transmit power, linearity and efficiency alongside receiver noise, sensitivity and blocker tolerance; allocate gain against losses across the complete RF path.
Assess insertion loss, isolation, impedance matching and PCB layout across the required amplifiers, switches, filters and antenna; verify coexistence where multiple radios share the product.
When integrating a transceiver or wireless SoC, verify host data interfaces, clock and local-oscillator requirements, power rails and supply noise.
Check the approvals required for the finished product in each target region; for pre-certified modules, confirm that the actual antenna, transmit power and software configuration remain within the approved scope.
