Capture scenes as pixel data for machine vision, inspection, and camera systems.
Applications & Selection
Vibration and temperature trends on motors, pumps, and compressors help monitor equipment condition. Match accelerometer bandwidth and noise density to the fault frequencies, range to expected vibration levels, and mounting and sampling to the measurement task.
Image sensors locate and inspect parts, ToF devices measure distance, and IMUs provide motion feedback. Check working distance, field of view, ambient light, and motion speed, then align the timing of data from the different sensors.
Drive systems use rotor-position and current feedback; battery systems also monitor current and temperature. Check magnetic interference, measurement range, error across temperature, and the automotive qualification required by the project.
Inertial data supports activity detection, pressure changes can help estimate elevation, and magnetic sensing supports heading. Match sampling and low-power modes to the device size, battery capacity, and continuous-operation power budget.
Indoor temperature and humidity measurements inform ventilation and climate control; ambient light can inform lighting control. Evaluate installed accuracy, response time, and long-term drift, including any effect of sensor self-heating.
CPAP and other respiratory support equipment monitor air-path pressure. Models with humidification may also require humidity sensing and control. Match the pressure range and response time to the system, then assess moisture or condensation exposure and system-level calibration.
