LM3481QMMX/NOPB is a current-mode switching controller operating from 2.97 to 48 V with an adjustable 100 kHz to 1 MHz clock. It controls an external low-side MOSFET, which allows the surrounding power stage to implement boost, SEPIC or flyback conversion. The controller itself does not define a fixed output-voltage or load-current rating.
A resistor-set or synchronized clock and external compensation allow the control loop to be matched to the chosen topology. Current sensing and the MOSFET, magnetics and rectifier ratings determine the usable power range.
