Product Description

The -3.0 option supplies a fixed 3.0 V at up to 1 A. At a 1 A load the specified dropout is 84 mV typical and 135 mV maximum; the input must also remain within the device operating range.

Its fixed-output noise is typically 5 µV RMS over 100 Hz to 100 kHz, useful when the supply noise budget matters. The output capacitor must retain enough effective capacitance under DC bias and temperature, and power dissipation depends on the input-to-output voltage difference.
