Working memory
SRAM for local working data
ISSI offers asynchronous and synchronous SRAM, including high-speed and low-power options. IS61/IS62 and automotive IS64/IS65 families address different operating needs. Compare access timing, bus organization, supply voltage and standby requirements; similar capacity does not mean the same interface.
Controller-attached memory
SDRAM, DDR and low-power DRAM
ISSI DRAM spans SDR, DDR generations and mobile low-power families. These devices provide working memory for embedded processors and other controllers. The controller generation, data width, timing and voltage must agree with the device; temperature and package suffixes are part of the full ordering identity.
Nonvolatile code storage
Serial NOR for code and configuration
ISSI serial NOR includes SPI, Quad SPI and higher-width interface options. It stores boot code, firmware and configuration data; execution and boot support depend on the host. Confirm interface commands, address mode, voltage and package for the exact IS25 device rather than substituting by density alone.
Persistent data storage
Raw NAND and managed eMMC
ISSI supplies raw NAND and controller-managed eMMC for embedded storage. With raw NAND, the host design must meet the device error-correction and bad-block requirements. eMMC integrates NAND and a controller behind a standardized host interface, moving those media-management tasks into the device. They require different hardware and software support.

IS31/IS32 LED-driver documentation
For IS31/IS32 LED-driver enquiries, use the current Lumissil product documentation. Its matrix and multichannel drivers control LED current and dimming, while switching drivers serve different power stages. Check channel arrangement, LED current, supply range and control interface against the exact part number.
Typical applications
Automotive systems
Automotive memory by system role
Instrument clusters, telematics, infotainment and ADAS use memory in different ways. ISSI automotive guidance maps SRAM, DRAM, NOR and eMMC to these workloads. Start with working-memory and persistent-storage needs separately, then confirm the exact device grade and qualification rather than assuming every member of a family is automotive-qualified.
Industrial embedded designs
Industrial equipment memory planning
An industrial controller may need fast local buffers, processor DRAM and nonvolatile code or event storage on the same board. ISSI industrial memory guidance separates these roles. Review the supported interface, operating temperature and write workload for each memory position before choosing its capacity and package.
