The TLE4968-1M is a high-precision automotive-grade bipolar Hall effect switch from Infineon's XENSIV family, delivering reliable magnetic position sensing with 1 mT operating point, -1 mT release point, and 2 mT hysteresis in a compact PG-SOT23-3 SMT package. Operating from 3–32 V directly from unregulated supplies, this Hall switch features active error compensation, integrated temperature compensation for drift-free switching, low 0.35 µs jitter, 1.6 mA current consumption (50% lower than competing solutions), and robust protection including 42 V over-voltage tolerance, -18 V reverse polarity, and output over-current/over-temperature protection. AEC-Q100 qualified for -40°C to +170°C junction operation with guaranteed supply through 2039, it is ideal for automotive wiper systems, steering position sensing, gear shift detection, and industrial proximity switching.
