These are not the same as the broad July 1 adjustments already covered in the July price-increase watch. They are dated, manufacturer-level notices with a specific cutoff, which is exactly the signal that should trigger a re-quote rather than a market-level assumption.

The Xilinx spot rally is a separate, faster-moving signal #

While the price-list deadlines above move on a calendar, the Xilinx (AMD) spot market is moving by the week. Market updates through late July and early August 2026 report two-week moves of roughly XC7Z020-2CLG484I +15%, XC7A75T-2FGG484I +10% and XCKU5P-2FFVB676I +16%, with futures lead times pushed beyond 50 weeks (versus 8–12 weeks in 2025) and selected part numbers no longer accepting futures orders. With capacity directed toward AI programs, factory shipments of mainstream XC7A / XC7Z series through the first half of 2026 were reported as minimal, leaving traders releasing stock in single-reel batches.

Why buyers should care #

A dated price-list increase and a spot rally pull in opposite directions on timing. Standard-series FPGA lead times generally exceed 40 weeks, with industrial, automotive and high-reliability grades at 52 weeks. Texas Instruments BQ-series battery-management ICs were quoted at 22–28 weeks with scarce spot, and high-precision industrial ADCs around 30 weeks. Infineon power devices show MOSFETs at 24–32 weeks and IGBTs at 26–52 weeks.

The through-line is that quotation validity is contracting while lead times stretch, so the cost of waiting is no longer just a possible price move — it is the risk of dropping to the back of a multi-quarter queue.
